Halftime

It's going to take an impressive performance to make this thing happen. It's sad to see guys like Reyna making the big mistakes that put us back. And I think the referees hate us. I'm blaming that on George Bush (tongue firmly in cheek).

We need to sub in Johnson for one of our midfielders. Push the play up to the front - it's all or nothing now. No reason to hold back. Put in a third striker and play a 4-3-3 or a 4-3-2-1 even with McBride way up front.

If we'd gone in tied I think we were in good position to win this one, but that penalty kick has the potential to take all the wind out of our sails. We need fresh striking legs. Guys that will run at the Ghana defense with the ball. We can't be afraid to play offensive soccer...it's time to put the ball in the fucking net...alot...or go home wishing we'd done everything we could to do that.
