On Not Giving a Shit

I just got the worst grade on an assignment that I've received since...well, since college I guess. And the best part about it? It didn't bother me in the least. If I needed any more assuring that I am nearing the end of my threshold for law school, this is it.

I've always heard about people slacking off in their third (and wholly unnecessary) year of law school, and now I see why. If you've decided not to clerk and you already have a job lined up...why should you stress about grades? I still go to class (mostly) and try to learn some of the material - especially where I think it will help me later on. But care? Not so much.

I've been watching a lot of movies lately. That's been pretty nice. I think I'm going to read a few novels this semester as well. And I've got a couple of trips in the works as well - beach, skiing, maybe South America.

You know what? On second thought, this whole 3rd year thing ain't so bad after all.
