Odessa Schools to Have "Bible Class"

This is great...why is my state always on the cutting edge of smashing the wall between church and state?
The school board in this West Texas town voted unanimously to add a Bible class to its high school curriculum.
. . .
Others said they feared a national constitutional fight.
Fear one? You got one, kiddo. Welcome back to the limelight Odessa - you would have been better served by relegating your nationwide fame to the overzealous passion you exhibit for high school football.

Do I think that literature teachers should be able to teach about the bible as part of a broader literature class? Sure, along with any other holy text, as many have a great influence on literature. Do I think that's the kind of thing these people are really trying to do with this class? Not for a second.
