Delay = Corrupt

Here's why I call Delay corrupt.
The airfare to London and Scotland in 2000 for then-House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) was charged to an American Express card issued to Jack Abramoff, a Washington lobbyist at the center of a federal criminal and tax probe, according to two sources who know Abramoff's credit card account number and to a copy of a travel invoice displaying that number.

DeLay's expenses during the same trip for food, phone calls and other items at a golf course hotel in Scotland were billed to a different credit card also used on the trip by a second registered Washington lobbyist, Edwin A. Buckham, according to receipts documenting that portion of the trip.

House ethics rules bar lawmakers from accepting travel and related expenses from registered lobbyists.
And that's just the time he got caught.

I think that there needs to be a general clamping down on this kind of activity, and I seriously doubt that it is just Delay or just Republicans that are doing it these days - Dems have done it in the past and will do it again, it's the nature of the game (power corrupts). But when people are exposed as being corrupt, they should be held accountable, no matter what party they're from. I'm glad that it's Delay that's taking the heat right now because I hate the SOB, but if I try to defend someone I agree with for doing the same sorts of things, please call me on it.
