Faith-based...
I hate the term "faith-based" almost as much as the concept. This wrecking ball aimed at that wall between church and state that used to be understood as fundamental to a free society is carefully disguised through clever nomenclature. I'm all about religious groups using their money to help others, and when they do so, I have no issue with them trying to share their faith with those who benefit from their generosity. Tax dollars, however, should not go toward anything "faith-based".
Bush has "asked congress not to fear faith." I only hope someone in congress will ask him not to fear reason.
